          - Long-Term 
            Care Insurance - Helps protect your assets and income if you 
            need long-term care at home or in a nursing home. Plans are customized 
            to your family's needs. You can choose a traditional policy or a "NY 
            Partnership" plan. 
 
          - Home 
            Health Care Insurance - A special plan that helps you stay 
            in your own home if you need long-term care. (This is the most popular 
            plan for retired public employees). 
 
          - FamilyAssistNet™- 
            Provides guidance to pre-screened nursing homes and home care workers 
            and a discount on services.
 
          - Life 
            Insurance -"Final Expense" covers expenses associated 
            with a death;there are several plans - "Senior Term" is 
            term insurance usually used to cover debts; "Total Assurance" 
            is for those who do not wish to have a physical exam; Universal Life 
            is for family protection and estate planning. 
 
          - Annuities-Investments 
            to help members maximize their interest on their savings, or to re-invest 
            their "Qualified Distributions", on a tax deferred basis.
 
          - Medi-Gap 
            Plans - Medicare supplemental insurance is important for those 
            who have no plan supplied via their former employer.
 
          - Prescription 
            Savings Card (*) - Gives you discounts on generic and brand-name 
            drugs at local pharmacies or via mail-order. (*) Free to members until 
            9/30/00. 
 
          - Vision 
            Plan - Provides members with savings on their eyeglasses and 
            on their eye exams.This card is good if you spend more than $125.00 
            on your glasses.
 
          - Hearing 
            Plan - Provides discounts on hearing aids, hearing aid supplies,
